Al-Ittihad Club establishment
On December 26, 1927, Al-Ittihad Club was founded by some of the most prominent football fans in the city of Jeddah. They met in the offices of radio broadcasting companies and discussed the idea of forming a football club that would compete with the various traveling teams at the time, and also be a source of entertainment for the residents and an outlet for the city's youth to practice football. Everyone agreed on the idea of creating a team that unites them, and then the Jeddah Union was born. Where Hamza Fitaihi, Abdul Samad Najib Al-Saadi, Ismail Zahran, Ali Yamani, Abdul Aziz Jamil, Abdul Latif Jamil, Abdul Latif Linjawi, Othman Banaja, Ahmed Abu Talib, Ali Sultan, Ahmed Al-Mir and Saleh Salama attended.
The Start
The club's current name is taken from this wisdom. Mazen Mohamed's words created a name for the club, as everyone agreed to call it by this name.
Ismail Zahran, the team player who was working in the radio office in Jeddah, indicated the possibility of electing the head of works, Mr. Sultan, as president of the club, but Ali Sultan became the first official president of the club.
Club Headquarters
It is considered the oldest sports club still remaining in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as the club was founded after a meeting of some prominent football fans in the city of Jeddah. Al-Ittihad Club's most notable periods of success were from 1990-2000, as the club achieved a large number of titles and achievements.

Other Games
Al-Ittihad Club is considered one of the most successful clubs at the local and continental levels, having achieved the AFC Champions League title twice in a row, the Asian Cup Winners' Cup once, and the Arabian Gulf Cup and Arab Club Champions Cup titles once for each. Locally, having won the league title 8 times, the King's Cup 9 times, the Crown Prince Cup 8 times and the Saudi Al-Ittihad Cup 3 times. The club has the distinction of being one of the only three Asian clubs to have won the AFC Champions League twice in a row.
